We’re going to place you in a group of like-minded ambitious students hoping to score big. Stella will take you through what it takes to appear a master of VCE Legal Studies, even if you’re not a natural talent.
Hey everyone, I’m Stella and I graduated Year 12 in 2021. In 2020, as a Year 11 student, I obtained a 50 in legal studies. Through my VCE journey, one of the keys to my success was finding a balance between continuing to do the things you love and finding the time to study with purpose. This balance was truly important, worked for me and translated into my results. This year I was drafted by Richmond into their AFLW program. I achieved this while also balancing music and leadership roles at school. It was finding that combination of hard work and using my study time effectively that was vital in achieving my goals. I can help you make the most your high school experience while also providing learning attitudes and techniques to maximise your study.
Legal studies is a content heavy subject, which requires more than memorisation. Although memorising content is important it is the ability to be able to link key ideas together and apply those ideas to different scenarios where true knowledge and success in legal studies can be achieved.
Throughout the series of lectures we’ll cover the foundations of the legal system evaluating aspects of their effectiveness and connecting them to the key concepts fairness, equality and access. These concepts will become engraved in your brain. I will provide you with tips, tricks and key skills you need to know in order for you to achieve your best possible results in legal studies. Look forward to meeting you all. Thanks! 🙂
